The guides are excellent. The staff spoiled us rotten. Great habitats and all the birds came out.

I’ve had a wonderful time, thank you everyone. I did see the “Rainbow Tree-eater” and one day maybe I’ll see that “Gone Bird”.

SOME TESTIMONIALS FROM CLIENTS THAT ATTENDED OUR BIRD EVENTS IN 2009

To see so many birds in all the different Arnhemland habitats was such a thrill - floodplains, mangroves, river mouths, stone country and islands - and I think the Gouldian finches gave me the greatest thrill; 20 or 30 perched there in a tree happily flitting about or preening. We watched for an hour. It was wonderful. J. Pearce

My most memorable experience was the visit to Haul Round Island, and travelling on the waterways. Being out in the remote bush was pretty good too. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was obvious that they worked tirelessly to try to make everyone as happy and satisfied as possible. R. Drummond

The terrain, birds, animals, (buffalo, pigs, crocs) and the interaction with the indigenous community were all a great experience. I am very much a novice birder but I did learn a lot about birds from the guides and other experienced birders. The overall experience was great. G. Sexton

My first sighting of the Gouldian finches en masse was thrilling as was the sight of the Gouldian finch mother feeding her five very patient babies. L. Steele

Arnhemland Bird Week was a great experience because of the staff, guides and all attending, plus all those wonderful Birds!

D. Price

It was fantastic to see flocks of Gouldian finches and The Holy (G)rail.
J. Hope
